Plumbing
Good plumbing is what holds a bathroom remodel together — literally. We handle all rough-in and finish plumbing in-house, including new shower installations, tub hookups, sink and faucet fitting, and toilet replacement. When a layout change requires moving a drain or supply line, we manage that as part of the project.
Chicago homes built before 1980 often have cast-iron drain pipes and galvanized supply lines. We assess what is there and let you know what needs to be addressed before we close up the walls. A small plumbing correction early in the project is far less disruptive than a leak after the tile is in.
Tile
Tile is the most visible part of most bathroom remodels, and it is also the part that shows poor workmanship the fastest. Uneven lines, grout that cracks within a year, tile that lifts at the edges — these are symptoms of bad substrate prep and rushed installation.
We take the substrate seriously. The surface under the tile has to be flat, dry, and properly waterproofed before a single tile goes down. In wet areas we use waterproofing membranes and spec grout products built for high-moisture environments. Chicago’s humidity swings make this non-negotiable.
Custom Glass and Mirrors
A frameless glass shower enclosure changes the feel of a bathroom more than almost any other single element. It opens the space visually, reads as high-end, and is easier to keep clean than a framed alternative with tracks and seals that collect grime.
We install custom glass shower enclosures, enclosure doors, and large-format mirrors cut to fit your specific dimensions. For bathrooms with non-standard layouts — common in older Chicago homes — custom glass is often the only option that fits correctly. We handle the measurement, ordering, and installation.
Vanity, Sink, and Hardware
We install everything from floating modern vanities to more traditional freestanding units, vessel sinks, undermount sinks, and the full range of faucet styles and finishes. We can work with fixtures you have already selected, or help you choose from suppliers we have used on many projects.
Hardware — towel bars, robe hooks, toilet paper holders, shower fixtures — is installed after tile and paint, so nothing gets damaged during construction. It is a small detail, but it is the kind of thing that separates a clean finish from one that looks like it was done in a hurry.
Types of Bathroom Remodels We Do

The most common scope for bathrooms that have not been updated in fifteen or twenty years. We demo down to the studs and subfloor, correct anything that needs correcting, and build from scratch — new plumbing, tile, fixtures, and vanity. Typically three to five weeks depending on scope and permits.

More square footage, more complex layouts, and higher-end fixture selections than a standard hall bath. We handle walk-in shower builds, freestanding tub installations, double vanity configurations, radiant floor heating, and custom lighting — all within a single project scope.

Space is limited, and every inch has to be used well. We specialize in making small Chicago bathrooms feel larger through layout optimization, the right tile choices, and smart fixture selection. In some cases we can take space from an adjacent closet to expand a cramped bathroom.
